Robin has been very close to the world of retailing ever since he took his first steps as a young boy. Being the son of a successful retail executive, he spent many hours as a child either exploring or working in warehouses and shops before heading to university to study how technology can help influence, organise and operate businesses for competitive advantage. Since then, Robin continued to stay close to the retail industry working with many well-known retailers and technology companies both in Europe and globally. Robin has held a variety of sales, product management, marketing and senior leadership roles initially with IBM, and more recently with Toshiba. Today, Robin is responsible for managing Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Channel & Marketing activities across Europe, and is an avid enthusiast and watcher of all things retail. In real life, Robin has two teenage daughters who already know very well how to shop!
