Based on our receptivity model, this year's talk explains the shoppers' openness towards in store communication.The power of the receptivity model also provides researchers with the understanding of shopper behavior during the different stages of the in store journey, specifically from a psychological perspective.Evaluating the different steps of the shopper journey provides crucial insights as to when to address the shopper with the right materials, at the right time. We share insights and best practices from our research on in store behavior and on visual merchandising, involving eye tracking and other technologies.
