Fresh fruit and vegetables are mostly delicious. But which tomato tastes the most intense? Which avocado will be fully ripe tomorrow?
This presentation will give an overview of the latest results from research, especially from the National DigiFood - Network for Knowledge Transfer organized by the German ministry of nutrition and agriculture. The presentation will highlight two case studies, one for fruit and vegetables, the other in the meat sectors and show how digitalization in retail can speed up processes and reduce food losses.
