
Enlightening Retail – the innovation and growing impact of light in new retail concepts
As physical retail continues to evolve and innovate, we see the parallel innovation of retail lighting and the growing importance of light within retail design and application. We work closely with leading retail designers, retailers and brands to define and redefine lighting concepts that are integral to their formats.
Lighting no longer only illuminates product, the approach to lighting design and execution shapes the perception of space and brand image. Not only does light need to illuminate a space and a concept but it has the ability to shape the customer journey more deeply when embedded into the design to create or support moments of experience or to help provide intuitive navigation.
The need for flexible, sustainable and dynamic use of retail space has never been more important and here lighting also plays a part. We will discuss a number of enlightened award winning retail projects which set the standard in these areas.
