Sustainability is on everyone's lips more than ever
Presenters
Sustainability is on everyone's lips more than ever. The complexity of sustainability-related requirements is increasing rapidly: EU Green Deal, taxonomy, CSRD, climate law, supply chain due diligence law, etc. How can one succeed in reducing the numerous requirements for one's own company to the essential points? Which elements of early recognition need to be worked through in order to determine the appropriate future path/sustainability strategy for me and my company - also and especially in the event and trade fair sector? The lecture will provide insights into the successful implementation for companies both at the company level as well as at the product and service level and will give an overview of scientifically based and tried-and-tested strategy instruments. In particular, the materiality matrix will be discussed, which helps to shape change in the company in a tangible way without overburdening the organisation. Various practical examples illustrate the procedure and offer the opportunity to reflect on the current strategic focus topics of one's own company. Sustainability is relevant to business when it is systematically and credibly implemented, externally verified and finally communicated - the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management is particularly useful for this.
