Benjamin Beinroth (born 1978 in Kassel) is a trained power electronics technician and has completed additional training as a state-certified commercial assistant for data processing. After initial professional positions with management responsibility, Beinroth studied economics with a focus on business informatics at the University of Kassel. In 2006, he became divisional manager for IT customer service at tegut before taking over the retail company's entire IT as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 2011. In January 2016, Benjamin Beinroth moved to the Fressnapf Group, where he is responsible for Europe-wide IT and business processes as a member of the management team. Today, the company has one of the most extensive SAP landscapes in the retail sector and is consistently digitizing processes in all areas of the company. Following the SAP rollout in eleven countries and the consistent transformation of the systems into the cloud, Beinroth is now driving the transformation of the company into a complete ecosystem together with his colleagues. Under his leadership, around 140 employees centrally manage all business-relevant IT processes and develop strategic products and innovative solutions. Beinroth is married and has four children.
