Marco Orlandelli

In 1983, Organizzazione Orlandelli was founded by Ugo Orlandelli in a small village in northern Italy. Ugo designed trolleys and equipment to display plants and flowers. Today, almost 40 years later, Orlandelli is managed by Marco Orlandelli in a new and modern headquarters. Marco has been CEO since 2008.   

Even though Ugo only speaks Italian, he has always encouraged Marco to take Orlandelli beyond their borders. On his fifteenth birthday, Marco was gifted a trip to New York City, and he has had his sights set on expanding ever since. In fact, one of the distinctive features of the Organizzazione Orlandelli is the company’s international outlook. Besides the Europe and US, Marco has customers worldwide and is focused on expanding to markets where horticulture is underdeveloped.

Marco’s passions for all thing green, combined with his love for Italy, has allowed him to dive head first into the DIY and garden center world. He has created a network of top professionals who have become great friends.

Marco is not just running a business; he is promoting the growth of horticulture world-wide. His mission is to do things right and create beautiful settings in-store for the plants and flowers world-wide. Which is why, in 2014, he started with a Group of leading Italian Companies the Myplant & Garden Consortium to promote the Italian Plants and Flowers Culture in the World. The Consortium started the annual Trade Show "Myplant & Garden" in Milan in the 2015. In 2022, he was appointed president of the Myplant & Garden Consortium.
