Nils Bergmann

Nils Bergmann is the Chief Design and Marketing Officer of payfree. After studying Industrial Design at Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany, and working as a Freelance Product Designer and Marketing Consultant until 2017, he became the Art Director of the software developer BMS Consulting. There he co-invented and co-created the payfree grab-and-go checkout. In 2021, BMS Consulting and VR Payment, the payment specialist of the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken Cooperative Financial Network, formed the joint venture payfree with Nils as CDO and CMO.
