Travis Stanton is the Editor in Chief of EXHIBITOR Magazine, where he has worked for the past 18 years. During Stanton's editorship, he has been honored with the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) Magazine of the Year award, as well as the Minnesota Media and Publishing Association's (MMPA) Greg Carey Leadership Award for outstanding leadership in the Minnesota publishing industry. Stanton's work as a writer and researcher has also garnered national and international recognition including multiple Maggie Awards from the Western Publishing Association (WPA), the 2007 Young Leader Award from ASBPE, back-to-back Best Editorial awards from Trade Association and Business Publications International (TABPI), the 2010 MMPA Innovator Award, and both the 2011 and 2017 MMPA Magazine of the Year awards. Stanton is most proud of developing recognition programs to highlight the outstanding talent and creativity in the trade show and experiential marketing industries, including EXHIBITOR's Best of CES Awards, World Expo Awards, and EuroShop Awards programs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Stanton pioneered the development of EXHIBITORInsight webinars and data-rich white papers to keep the industry informed and on track for recovery. Stanton also serves on the ASBPE's Young Leader Scholarship Subcommittee, and he is the secretary/treasurer of the ASBPE Foundation, which champions educational programs that serve the business-to-business publishing industry.
